The Masseria stands in an area with a remarkable landscape, one of the most beautiful and attractive of the coastline near Otranto, next to the famous “Baia dei Turchi”, a natural bay with crystal clear sea water.
Masseria Mongiò is on the northern side of the vast property belonging to the Mongiò family. From the old rural buildings, after a long and careful restructuring, 12 suites have been obtained. Each suite is different from the other in size and the way rooms have been conceived but they are all similar in style and the materials that have been used. For the restructuring we decided to use materials and colours fully compatible with the natural environment, and we re-used as much as we could of what already existed, so as to keep a sense of continuity, but at the same time offering the utmost comfort for our guests.

One of the aims of our restructuring was to reduce to the minimum the impact on the environment, also thanks to renewable energy. Our guests, sensitive to this topic are also involved with their respectful behaviour in the entire process of protection of the environment.

Twelve comfortable suites in the heart of Salento:
The Masseria has 12 suites, all different one from the other for size and the way they are conceived, but similar in style and materials. For the restructuring local materials have been used, such as Lecce stone and reclaimed timber. The suites are all finely decorated with taste and elegance and have from 3 to 5 beds. They have an independent entrance, air conditioning, 2 TV sets, minibar, safe, free internet and Wi-Fi.

The suites have a terrace or a private garden and they all offer splendid and varied surrounding landscape with woods, vineyards, cultivated fields with glimpses of the blue sea.

The hotel also avails itself of two apartments for disabled guests.
You can directly reach the beautiful beach “Baia dei Turchi” following a path in the shade of about 250 metres.

WELLNESS & SPA in Puglia
For your total relaxation we have a relaxation area which is exclusive for our guests, the Ipogeo, with a large spa bath, Turkish bath, sauna, multi-sensory shower and herbal tea corner. Our guests can also book massages in their rooms or on the terrace with a view of the bay.

Hotel Cancellation policy
• Cancellation up to 30 (days prior to arrival date without any charge (deposit refunded)

• Reservations cancelled in the period between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival date will incur a charge of the deposit, equal to 30% of total price

• Reservations cancelled in the period between 14 and 8 days prior to arrival date will incur a charge of 70% of total price

• Reservations cancelled after the aforementioned terms will incur a charge 100% of total price
