Description
V&A Dundee
V&A Dundee is available to hire as a venue for a range of events from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations.
V&A Dundee transformed the cultural landscape of Scotland.
Housed in a world-class building, designed by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the building encapsulates V&A Dundee’s innovative attitude, confident ambition and broad outlook.
It has outstanding social spaces, making it a great place to meet, eat, relax, browse, learn and shop while enjoying the building’s architecture and its beautiful location on the River Tay.
V&A Dundee is designed as a living room for the city – and an exceptional location for unique and engaging events.
The building offers three spaces which are ideal to entertain staff and clients – our auditorium, and our Upper and Lower Locke Halls.
Locke Hall
An impressive space with stepped walls permeated by slot windows to create a unique environment which immediately instils a true sense of place. On the far side of the hall a large window frames the view of the River Tay and the hills of Fife – connecting audiences with the city’s breath-taking location.
Upper Foyer
Situated between the galleries, with views into the Scottish Design Galleries, this extensive foyer can seat 250 people for a dinner.
The Juniper Auditorium
Located on the upper level with views towards the east of the city, this is a bright, airy space with high ceilings and a flexible layout. It has been designed to allow use for a variety of corporate events, including seminars, workshops, lectures, meetings and performances. Adjacent to the main restaurant kitchen, a full catering service can be provided within this space.
Celebratory dinners at Tatha Bar & Kitchen
From intimate corporate client dinners and family occasions, from wedding anniversary celebrations to christening lunches, Tatha Bar & Kitchen makes the perfect location for your celebration. There are private dining options varying from a party of ten to sixty people.
